Welcome
Welcome from our Headteacher
It is a real pleasure to welcome you to Clifford Bridge Academy. We are a vibrant, inclusive and happy two-form entry primary school in north-east Coventry, welcoming children from the age of three and supporting families through our thriving wraparound provision. At Clifford Bridge, we are proud of our warm, ambitious community, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.
Our vision, “We believe in you so that you believe in yourself. No matter what path you start on, you will reach your summit. See you at the top!”, reflects our unwavering belief in every child. Through strong relationships, high expectations and a genuine sense of belonging, we help children to recognise their potential, grow in confidence and achieve their own personal success. Our values of curiosity, integrity, joy, kindness, nurture and resilience guide this journey and are woven through every aspect of school life.
We offer an ambitious, carefully sequenced curriculum that builds knowledge and skills while celebrating creativity, curiosity and children’s individual talents. Reading is prioritised, inclusive practice is central to our teaching, and rich experiences beyond the classroom bring learning to life. From sport, clubs and outdoor learning to choirs, instrumental tuition and our school band, Take It To The Bridge, children are encouraged to discover new interests and shine.
We are especially proud to have achieved the OPAL Platinum Award in 2026, recognising the quality, inclusivity and ambition of our play provision. Playtimes and lunchtimes at Clifford Bridge provide children with exciting opportunities to be active, imaginative, collaborative and adventurous, supporting their wellbeing and development across the school day.
Our January 2025 inspection confirmed the strong practice evident across education, behaviour, leadership and early years. As part of Inspire Education Trust, we also benefit from working closely with schools across the Trust, sharing expertise and opportunities so that our children receive the very best education and care.
Children, families, staff, governors and friends of the school all contribute to what makes Clifford Bridge such a special place. I hope our website gives you a sense of the joy, energy and ambition that fill our school each day. The best way to experience our community is to come and see it for yourself, and we would be delighted to welcome you.

Welcome from our CEO
Dear Parents and Carers
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Clifford Bridge Academy. Our school is member of the Inspire Multi-Academy Trust of five primary schools. The other schools are: Hearsall community Academy, Stockingford Academy, Academy, Walsgrave CE Academy and Whittle Academy
Clifford Bridge primary school is a popular primary school with a village like feel in a popular residential location. The school was lucky enough to have a new build and refurbishment in 2013 as it grew from a one to two form entry school.
We are all positive about the autonomy and independence that comes with our schools being a group of academies working together. The schools are accountable to a ‘Board of Directors’ and the ‘Local Governing Body’.
At Inspire Education Trust we are passionate about making a difference to the lives of our children. They are at the heart of everything we do and we strive to inspire all learners and we want all our schools to be the best they can be and for each child to discover the skills, abilities, talents and interests that lie within them.
The schools have a desire to question, change and innovate to ensure that what they provide enables our children to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.
We believe in working in partnership, enabling us to ensure all children to achieve their full potential. Our schools know the impact that working collaboratively can bring.
At the same time, we recognise the importance for each school to retain and promote their individual identity. Every school has its own context and challenges. This is why we encourage our member schools to lead and manage in a way that preserves that individual identity and responds to the specific needs of their children and community.
The combination of autonomy and collaboration across key areas of leadership and management, underpinned by shared vision, values and best practice is what makes our schools special.
We want to work in partnership with parents and carers and will provide regular opportunities for you to come into school. We have an open door policy and all problems and concerns will be promptly dealt with.
I hope to see your children regularly when I am in school to share and celebrate with them their hard work, efforts and achievements and I look forward to seeing you in the near future!
